Power Shot SD1000

The Power Shot SD1000 is perhaps the world’s smallest and lightest digital ELPH camera. This camera flaunts an impeccable style combined with technology and delivers great images. The Powers hot SD100 leaves most of its rivals behind in the point and click camera field making it a preferred choice for a quick-shooting and ultra thin compact camera. The new white-platinum finish crafted in stainless steel is stylish and durable to the extent that this camera goes a step ahead in point and shoot category to be easily referred to as flaunt and shoot camera. Everything is small in this camera except for the image quality. From the small built-in flash unit, the new condensed battery and the recent addition of becoming the first camera in Canon stable to record all images to a Secure Digital (SD) Memory card reducing the memory size and allowing for greater portability. Given the small size, the SD100’s controls and buttons are spaced out in the platinum frame making them easy to operate even while holding the camera with one hand. The button are earmarked with text identification to assist novice users especially for under 10 years age category labeling it the ‘1 Camera for entire family’. The all-new waterproof casing for the Power Shot SD100 allows underwater shooting at a depth of more than a 100 feet. This striking feature alone lures even the professional photographers in buying it for leisure shooting when they are on a holiday. Additionally, the SD1000 incorporates the Canon’s exclusive iSAPS technology that enhances the speed and performance of the camera’s auto focus, auto exposure and auto white balance functions. Apart from this, the 9-point AiAF auto focus system allows for quick focusing with scattered subjects. It has little to do with manual controls given its auto capabilities disappointing those who like to personalize the camera settings. Going one step further, the Power Shot Sd1000 hardly leaves room for that.
