Panasonic Lumix DMCLZ7K

The Panasonic Lumix DMCLZ7K is a good point and shoot camera with great image quality. It runs on alkaline batteries that contribute to its weight and size. The 6x image stabilized zoom has a wider viewing area and the optical and digital zoom both work in cohesion while video recording. This is in contrast to some competitor products where the zoom function does not work at all while video recording. The Easy Zoom feature gears up the lens quickly to full 6x zoom power at the touch of a dedicated button. The LZ7K produces brighter pictures in low light too.

Therefore, it is a good buy for all those who are ready to compromise on size and weight for good low light images, a feature many snapshot cameras lack. The Date Stamp function allows users to put the date on the pictures that is visible even when the pictures are printed. For the family people it lets them also print the age of the baby on the picture after putting in the details making the shooting experience fairly personalized. The LZ7 hosts many features that impart added usability and convenience. The new Quick Setting function allows users to quickly access and set the functions easily, which are frequently used. The LZ7 also comes bundled with the Intelligent Image Stabilization system that has the Mega Optical Image Stabilizer and Intelligent ISO Control. Both of these counters balance each other to produce quality images.

The Mega O.I.S eliminates the hand shaking effect and removes blur from the pictures especially while taking macro close-up shots and using high powered zooming. In these situations the handshake becomes more evident. However, even mega O.I.S cannot out phase the motion blur caused by the moving subject while clicking pictures. In these conditions the Intelligent ISO Control feature automatically detects whether the subject is moving or not and accordingly changes the ISO setting and shutter speed to match with the degree of movement and light conditions without letting the photographer worry about these. The Lumix DMC LZ7K lets the users enjoy the easy and trouble free shooting experience of capturing clear, crisp and vivid images.
