Canon Power Shot A710

The Canon Power Shot A710 a powerful camera in this series. The camera is extremely easy to use and comfortable to hold. The Power Shot A710 retains most successful features of its predecessors like the extensive range of shooting modes, full manual control, VGA quality movie recording, ISO 800 shooting, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen. It has also added a new Digital Teleconverter to add extra telephoto reach on every shot that is like adding a teleconverter lens to the camera. Even with high zoom the image quality is very good. The video is also of great quality allowing users up to 5 shooting modes and lot of memory space with an additional memory card so that the users can do away with the thought of buying a video camera.

However, sometimes there is a problem that can cause the camera to stop working and the lens to not retract. This may happen if the dirt of some kind blocks the lens shutting and does not allow it to close properly. But, the service department can fix this easily and it would be best to safeguard the camera by keeping it in a case. It works on 2 AA batteries that are easily available everywhere and lasts for long. This camera is extremely durable in case it meets an unfortunate accident. As long as somebody is not bent upon breaking it, it will survive atrocities except for the LCD screen that is delicate. The A710 also has a new Safety Zoom that takes advantage of the camera’s large resolution to offer extra zoom magnification without letting the image quality deteriorate. There are various scene modes along with Special scene modes for challenging shooting environments. For the experiences users the manual mode provides more control over the exposure settings. The various artistic photo effects can be applied in the pictures while in and after shooting with My Colors.

The Canon Power Shot A710 is a value for money proposition combined with good looks and sturdy design.
