GoDaddy Inc., the world’s largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, today announced WP Premium Support, a new support offering that provides unparalleled support and a new level of access to WordPress expertise. This offering helps small businesses fix, update and optimize their WordPress sites more quickly and conveniently than ever before. WP Premium Support gives customers access to a large team of on-call WordPress developers to provide expert guidance on resolving site issues and boosting performance at the drop of a hat.
GoDaddy is launching WP Premium Support to ensure that every GoDaddy customer with a WordPress site has the help they need to make the most of their online presence. WP Premium Support provides access to WordPress experts and GoDaddy’s acclaimed 24x7x365 customer support team to help members fix bugs quickly, improve site security, reduce bounce rate, increase site traffic and speed, and assist with Theme and Plugin installations or modifications.
With WP Premium Support, GoDaddy continues to expand its list of WordPress offerings and provide new solutions designed with small businesses in mind. Rather than requiring small businesses to take time out of their schedules to perfect site optimization, GoDaddy is providing a new solution that helps these customers harness the knowledge of WordPress experts and bypass the learning curve required to tackle fixes independently, whenever they may need it.
“Small businesses have better things to do than spending their time figuring out how to troubleshoot and implement WordPress fixes on their own. Whether it’s a plugin that stops working or a theme that needs updating, it’s not a matter of “if” but “when” additional support will need to be called in,” said Alex McClafferty, Director of Product (and founder of WP Curve, which was acquired by GoDaddy in 2016.) “With WP Premium Support, we’re providing peace of mind to small businesses whose WordPress websites can be kept up and running as they should be, with fixes expertly implemented, and fast.”
This new support option comes after GoDaddy launched WordPress Websites, the easiest way for small businesses and individuals to get a WordPress site up and running, in October 2016. WordPress Websites features a simple WordPress Quick Start Wizard and drag-and-drop Visual Page Editor that allows anyone to make a professional looking and functioning WordPress site regardless of their technical capabilities. Support is available now in all English-speaking markets with other international markets launching in 2018.
