Using Photoshop how do I get two images to fade from one to another. I want to have the first on the left side and the other on the right and a nice fade-over in the middle. I want those images to fade from one to another over a certain amount of pixel Is there a way to do that?

You can just put each photo on a different layer. Then create a layer mask for the top layer. In the layer mask use the gradient tool set to black and white colors and from foreground to background at 100%. Do a horizontal blend (hold the shift key to constrain) or whatever angle you want. The wider the start and end points of the blend the bigger the area that the photos will blend.
